I join this group becauseI think that it is going to be a lot of fun and challenging. i want to learn how to weld and to put it all together..
we have decided that a go-kart is to hard so we have changed to a billy kart to donate to a fire victom or a play centre that had bean burnt down.
patric said we should base it for ages 3-12 i recon more like 10-15 and give it to a fire victom so then we can sit in it and it will be easier to make it the right size but its up to the group. Wwe will need to get the materials like wood, wheels, axels, stering wheels, string.
We were not able to continue on with building a go-cart because of safety reasons, then we decied to build a rocking horse for kids in the bushfires.
we then found some templates for a rocking horse and traced them on to some wood. we cut the wood out and anded it all until it had no rough edges. after that will glued and nailed them together. we put the horse on the base for it to rock. We started to paint the horse then we made one more. the two horses are now panited.
